Cauliflower (Whole) is very nutritious. Eat it cooked, raw or pickled. It belongs to the cruciferous vegetable family, which includes kale, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, bok choy, cabbage, collard greens, rutabaga and turnips. Boil, steam or microwave until just tender and slightly crisp. Overcooking can ruin the flavour and texture of cauliflower.
