Passionfruit contain many types of antioxidants. These include Vitamin A, Vitamin C, riboflavin and carotene which help reduce the production of free radicals in the body. Free radicals are generated by our body cells as a by-product and can cause skin aging. Both the seeds and pulp of passionfruit can be added to fruit salads and pavlovas. Only a small amount is needed as the fruit has a strong fragrant flavour. Use passionfruit juice in place of lemon juice in fruit curds and icing.
